A modern twist on the Scandinavian iconic spirit, inspired by the Scandinavian long and rich spirit heritage around Akvavit. Also inspired by Swedish Midsummer and the summer festive season. Made to sip on its own with food the way Swedes do it, but also as a unique and versatile cocktail ingredient. Stockholms Bränneri’s Akvavit is built up from a dill flower and caraway base, and infused with fennel seeds, elderflower, juniper, and coriander seeds. The juniper and coriander give it a gin-like botanical character, while the fennel, dill, and caraway create an excitingly savory flavour profile, balanced by the airy floral notes of the elderflower. All the botanicals that go into the aquavit are entirely organic and carefully hand-selected. Best enjoyed in good company ice cold as a snaps, or together with tonic for a new take on the classic drink.
